Alive and kicking and still fighting the war...
Spent the last 5 days in Athens, Oh, our new 'home town'. It's so beautiful and friendly - can't wait to go:) We put an offer on a house!
Still going back and forth with the details, but it's looking good!
And yes, I will have a sewing room - but it will have to be in the basement (which is fine by me) and it will need to be 'designed' - boo hoo (not!)
And I have been working on some blocks, I think.
I HAVE made some CW blocks, but have yet to take the pictures, whoops!
AND you just have to check out this fabric, prairie paisley... I'm in love!

Oh Allie - the house is lovely!!!! And it looks like it has an attic too! So sweet! And a sewing room - you'll be set! My fingers are crossed that the sale is smooth. Hope your dear little twins are coping with all the upheaval. The prairie paisley is just lovely - I have been working on a quilt in it too. Yummy stuff. The house is absolutely adorable! Can't wait to hear all about it. Getting to design your sewing room is awesome! I'm sending good wishes for a smooth purchase! Love that prairie paisley - may have to get some myself! I checked out the Patchwork Party you mentioned is using it. I could have chosen your preferred "finishing kit" without even hearing you say which one you liked -LOL! Looking forward to the next Podcast!
